HANOI, Vietnam (Aug. 29, 2018) -- Muong Thanh Hospitality Group, one of the largest private hotel chains in the region, introduced a new corporate identity this month, highlighting the group’s long-standing legacy and blending elements of contemporary culture with traditional Vietnamese values.
Operating 54 properties in Vietnam and Laos, as well as other hospitality projects, the group said it was choosing to use national values and cultural details to promote tourism to domestic and foreign travellers. The move aims to brings the Muong Thanh brand into the future while paying homage to Vietnam’s heritage.
The new brand identity emphasises the qualities each of Muong Thanh’s four sub-brands, using ethnic patterns and bold colours. As the most upmarket of the group’s sub-brands, ‘Muong Thanh Luxury’ will continue to reflect the standards of its sophisticated clientele, with a diamond pattern in a dark royal purple, referencing motifs of the Annam period of Vietnamese history, hoạ tiết kỷ hà.
For all luxury hotels in urban areas of Vietnam, the new design for ‘Muong Thanh Grand’ utilises a zig-zag pattern in navy blue, symbolizing strength and success for the business travellers of today.
Located in popular destinations nationwide, ‘Muong Thanh Holiday’ hotels focus on the natural beauty of Vietnam and local experiences. The hotels’ brand will evoke a free spirit and balanced life with a bold teal colour.
Finally, ‘Muong Thanh Hotel’ represents affordable comfort, with three- and four-star hotels that offer reliable and standardised services. The new forest green colour will welcome guests to their ‘home away from home’.
